On Sunday, May 10, the village of Asciano comes alive with the arrival of the charming Treno Natura, an unmissable event celebrating local traditions, authentic flavors, and fun for all ages.
An experience of culture and territory
Stroll through the historic streets, discover local products, enjoy folk events, and experience the unique atmosphere of the Crete Senesi: this day is designed for those who love the most authentic side of Tuscany.
Event schedule
- 10:00 AM – Opening of the local products and crafts market along Corso Matteotti
- 10:00 AM – Guided walk “The Road of the Soul” (booking required)
- 11:30 AM – Opening of the food stand in Piazza della Basilica
- 12:30 PM – Arrival of the Nature Train and meeting with the districts of the Palio dei Ciuchi
- 2:00 PM – Traditional games “Il Nocino” in Sant’Agostino Square
- 2:30 PM – Traveling music with the Street Band Ciacciabanda
Local flavors
In Piazza della Basilica, visitors can enjoy typical specialties such as porchetta sandwiches, cured meats, and cheeses, accompanied by local wine and beer.
