The Archaeology Nights
A Glimpse of the Crete Senesi
As part of the 2026 edition of the Archaeology Nights programme, Palazzo Corboli Museum in Asciano will inaugurate the photographic exhibition Between Sky and Clay: The Crete Senesi by Stefano Caporali on Friday, 3 July at 5:00 pm.
The exhibition presents a visual journey through the landscape of the Crete Senesi, one of Tuscany's most distinctive territories, through a selection of photographs that highlight its unique landforms, changing colours and deep connection with local history and identity.
Stefano Caporali's images offer a personal and attentive interpretation of a landscape shaped over centuries by the interaction between nature and human activity, revealing its environmental, cultural and historical significance.
The exhibition provides an opportunity to explore a territory closely linked to the archaeological and historical heritage of the Crete Senesi, contributing to the appreciation of the landscape as a fundamental element of collective memory and local identity.
Admission to the opening event is free of charge.
The exhibition is open to visitors free of charge from 3 July to 27 September 2026 during the following opening hours: every day (closed on Tuesdays) including holidays, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
