The exhibition aims to commemorate Fra Giovanni da Verona on the 500th anniversary of his passing, an Olivetan monk recognized as one of the finest intarsia artists of the Renaissance.

Nineteen contemporary artists pay tribute to him, reaffirming an innovative spirit that continues to be influential today, combining technical skill and mastery of perspective with a keen attention to message and content.

The exhibition features a world of sacred themes, still lifes, animals, faces, glimpses of landscapes, studies of Renaissance works, imposing skyscrapers, busy streets, lightning tearing through the sky, traditional and modern musical instruments, whirlpools of color, and dissolved and reassembled geometries.

A contemporary reflection on the refined uniqueness of Fra Giovanni da Verona, whose messages remain central to our spirituality today.
