Farmers’ Festival & Ribollita Festival
October 9, 10 and 11 – Three days of events in the heart of the Crete Senesi, featuring a farmers’ market, traditional crafts and trades, walks and excursions, guided tours, children’s workshops, shows, live music, and local traditions.
L’Eroica
October 3 – The Eroica cycling event passes through Asciano, winding its way through some of the most iconic landscapes of the Crete Senesi. Here, cyclists will face the legendary climb of Monte Sante Marie, where the real challenge is to conquer it on the pedals!
Settembre Ascianese
5–27 September: Join us in the heart of the Crete Senesi for a series of traditional events and experiences waiting to be discovered. Festivals, culture, music, good food, conviviality and plenty of fun await you!
“Azzurra Lorenzoni” Band Festival
September 20 and 27 – Asciano once again speaks the language of music with the 33rd edition of the “Azzurra Lorenzoni” Band Festival. Two Sundays, two different events, united by the same passion for music and the world of bands.
The Night of the Contrade
12 September – An evening dedicated to the seven Contrade of Asciano, as they parade through the streets and compete in a series of fun and traditional games. And, of course, there will be plenty of time to come together and celebrate with an aperitif, dinner and music!
Nocino Festival
September 6 – The traditional Festa del Nocino returns, dedicated to the young Contradaioli of Asciano. An afternoon filled with tradition, games, good company and plenty of fun!
Past and Present at Casetta
September 3–5 and 11–12 – A celebration of the historic Battle of Monteaperti, featuring historical reenactments, local food and wine, conferences, and other events. A journey through time brought to life over five special evenings, where tradition meets modernity and entertainment.
Little bits of Museum
29 August – The events continue! A guided tour to discover the masterpieces of the Museum. The next session will focus on the Marian icon known as the “Madonna delle Grazie” (Our Lady of Grace).

From August 27 to 30 – Asciano celebrates the Feast of “Madonna delle Grazie” (Our Lady of Grace), a cherished occasion of faith and tradition that brings the community together for a special time to share. A heartfelt celebration combining devotion, tradition, and conviviality.

July 1, 8, 22 and 29 – August 5, 12, 19 and 26: the historic centre of Asciano comes alive with a vibrant programme of evening events featuring sports, live entertainment, music, wine tastings, workshops, community gatherings and much more.

29–31 July: Three days of classic music in the heart of the Crete Senesi landscape. A unique summer event, where great music meets the beauty of the land.
