Archaeology, What a Passion!
We are pleased to renew the annual appointment dedicated to archaeology, now in its twenty-fourth edition!
This year, the theme for the special initiatives will be: Archaeology, What a Passion!, with events designed for budding enthusiasts: children and young people who find essential nourishment for their curiosity and imagination in the great adventures and wonders of the past, extinct animals, cave men, myths, and discoveries.
The Palazzo Corboli Museum in Asciano welcomes you with dedicated activities:
- July 1st and 21st at 3:00 PM:
What Potsherds!
- Description: An initiative for children and young people to discover the material found in archaeological excavations followed by a practical clay manipulation activity.
- Location: Palazzo Corboli Museum, Asciano
- Time: 3:00 PM
- Note: Reservation required.
- Cost: Free event.
- Collaboration: Activity carried out in collaboration with the Potters' Art Association of the Noble Contrada del Nicchio of Siena.
- July 13rd at 4:00 PM:
From Excavations to the o the Museum of the Upper Ombrone Valley!
- Description: A journey through the museum halls to retrace the excavations that gave birth to the ARCHEOLOGY section of the Museum.
