Family Day at the Museum!
On October 13th, we want to celebrate it with all of you – adults, children, and museums.
We’re looking forward to seeing you!
The theme chosen for the 2024 edition, "A GREEN MUSEUM," will focus on ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY in the cultural field.
"In this context, decarbonizing culture – that is, making the emissions from cultural assets and activities neutral – means enabling the sector to play a greater role in our lives, in a society that will need to eliminate activities linked to fossil energy sources and rethink its development model, integrating environmental, social, and economic dimensions into everyday activities."
- What is meant by "decarbonization of culture"?
- What strategies can a museum implement for the ecological transition?
- How can a museum promote environmental sustainability to its audience?
- How can a museum achieve zero emissions by 2050?
- Where does my museum currently stand in relation to these issues?
The Museum of Palazzo Corboli in Asciano invites you to join us for an informational and working session to explore possible improvements in environmental and cultural sustainability, moving ever closer to a Green Museum!
You are invited to contribute your ideas; we’ll have fun exploring the museum and its unique features together!
