One of the most important event for the Proloco of Asciano, a gala dinner where all the volunteers became guests of honour!
In the past it was the occasionin which the "scialenghi" no longer resident in Asciano returned to the village; it is tradition that the "Menciaioli" gather to celebrate the "reunion" in the village around a large table to consume a succulent dinner together!
A tradition requires that every ascianese who drinks the water of the Mencia, water that flows from the village fountain located under the Civic Tower, cannot forget his native village and does everithing possible to return there periodically.
An opportunity to learn about the history and traditions of Asciano and experience the elegant halls of the Grand Duke's Stables located in the historic center of Asciano.
The event is public and all citizens are invited to participate.
