The festival represents an opportunity to come together in a gesture of solidarity, supporting an important cause while sharing special moments in the heart of the Asciano community.

• Sunday, November 16, 23, and 30 – “Nativity Scenes of Solidarity” Workshop
  10:45 AM – 7:00 PM, Piazza Garibaldi. Creative workshops with children from “Svuota Cantine”, organized by Proloco Asciano.

• Saturday, December 6 – Children from “Svuota Cantine” will deliver the Nativity Scenes of Solidarity to the shops in the historic center, accompanied by music and songs from “Gli Stecconi Natalizi”.

• Sunday, December 7 – St. Cecilia Concert: “Symphonies of Light – Celebrating Pietro Leopoldo”, 6:00 PM, Basilica of S.Agata, organized by the G. Verdi Philharmonic Society of Asciano.
  Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration: inauguration of the Christmas Parabolas and DJ-Set by Radio Epicentro, 7:00 PM, Piazza Garibaldi. Tree lighting at 7:30 PM by the Youth Committee of the Contrade Association.

• Monday, December 8 – Mass of the Associations, 11:00 AM, Basilica of S.Agata.
  Christmas Carols with Eurema Vocal Ensemble, 6:00 PM, Piazza Garibaldi.

• Saturday, December 13 – Art and Culture in the Crete: The White Truffle of the Crete Senesi, in collaboration with the Tartufai del Garbo Association:

  • 3:00 PM: Nature walk with expert truffle hunters and their dogs (reservation required).

  • 5:00 PM: Conference “The Truffle: From Local Product to Territorial Resource”, Palazzo Corboli Museum, free admission.

  • 8:00 PM: GALA NIGHT “Between Flavors and Truffle” with tasting and charity auction (reservation required).

• Christmas Markets and Solidarity Activities: artisan and local food products, Sweet Solidarities, Crossbow for Solidarity with open shooting trials, Chestnuts & Mulled Wine, and local markets.

• Saturday, December 20 – Here Comes Santa Claus! Musical games, workshops, and magical elves in Piazza Garibaldi, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
  Sports Festival and Solidarity Lottery at the Sports Hall.

• Sunday, December 21 – Christmas Notes – Notes of Peace, 3:00 PM, Parish Auditorium, concert by the Young Band and students of the G. Verdi Philharmonic School of Music.
